The free ski and city bus stops a 2-minute walk from the house. And takes you comfortably in a few minutes to the valley station of the Schlossalm cable car.
Bus shuttle through the valley: The Gastein Valley offers extensive bus services, even to Sportgastein, to the Hohe Tauern National Park. All our guests can use buses and trains throughout the Salzburger Land free of charge during their stay with the Guest Mobility Ticket. Valid upon arrival. For hikers, active holidaymakers, connoisseurs and strollers. The bus station is only a 5-minute walk away.

- Coming from Salzburg A8 or A1
- At the Salzburg motorway junction, keep right and follow the signs for A10/E55 towards Villach/Salzburg South/Italy/Ljubljana/Slovenia (TOLL)
- A10 Tauern motorway: Exit at junction 47 Pongau/Bischofshofen and follow towards Bischofshofen/Schwarzach im Pongau (B311)
- Turn left onto Gasteiner Bundesstraße/B167
- You will pass Dorfgastein and arrive in Bad Hofgastein
By car from Austria
- Westautobahn Vienna – Salzburg (A1)
- Keep right onto E55 (signs for A10/Italy/Slovenia/Graz/Villach)
- Continue on A10 until junction 47 Pongau/Bischofshofen towards Bischofshofen/Schwarzach im Pongau (B311)
- You will pass Dorfgastein and arrive in Bad Hofgastein
Upon arriving in Bad Hofgastein (1st roundabout)
Arkadia Apartments:
- At the first roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Salzburger Straße
- Take the 3rd right turn onto Bergstraße
- Take the 1st right turn onto Tauernstraße (53) – follow the road to the end – the hotel is on the left side
