In a 10-minute walk, you can reach the center of Bad Hofgastein with beautiful shops and restaurants for shopping and dining. As well as the Alpentherme Gastein with steaming thermal bathing lakes, the spacious Cascadia sauna world, extensive beauty and massage offerings, fitness center, sports medical treatments, and the family and fun area. The free ski and city bus stops a 2-minute walk from the house. And takes you comfortably in a few minutes to the valley station of the Schlossalm cable car.
Bus shuttle through the valley: Especially in the summer months, our guests enjoy the generous bus service in the Gastein Valley. For only € 1.50, all our guests receive a special price for all bus rides in the valley, up to Sportgastein to the Hohe Tauern National Park or to Dorfgastein.

- Coming from Salzburg A8 or A1
- At the Salzburg motorway junction, keep right and follow the signs for A10/E55 towards Villach/Salzburg South/Italy/Ljubljana/Slovenia (TOLL)
- A10 Tauern motorway: Exit at junction 47 Pongau/Bischofshofen and follow towards Bischofshofen/Schwarzach im Pongau (B311)
- Turn left onto Gasteiner Bundesstraße/B167
- You will pass Dorfgastein and arrive in Bad Hofgastein
By car from Austria
- Westautobahn Vienna – Salzburg (A1)
- Keep right onto E55 (signs for A10/Italy/Slovenia/Graz/Villach)
- Continue on A10 until junction 47 Pongau/Bischofshofen towards Bischofshofen/Schwarzach im Pongau (B311)
- You will pass Dorfgastein and arrive in Bad Hofgastein
Upon arriving in Bad Hofgastein (1st roundabout)
Arkadia Apartments:
- At the first roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Salzburger Straße
- Take the 3rd right turn onto Bergstraße
- Take the 1st right turn onto Tauernstraße (53) – follow the road to the end – the hotel is on the left side
