The Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel Ski Area is easy to reach using the Schlossalmbahn lift from Bad Hofgastein, the biggest contiguous ski area in Gastein Valley.
Brand-new this year: The new Schlossalmbahn lift opened in December 2018, featuring modern lift technology and a highly efficient snowmaking infrastructure.
The Graukogel ski area is a small ski resort for fans of natural snow, particularly suitable for experienced skiers due to its challenging runs.
The Dorfgastein-Grossarltal ski area is easy to reach using the Gastein ski bus, especially recommended for families with children. Its variety-filled pistes and traditional ski huts guarantee truly reenergizing vacation days.
The high-alpine Sportgastein ski area lies on the edge of Hohe Tauern National Park and is also convenient to reach with the Gastein ski bus. Skiing enjoyment is guaranteed until the beginning of May!
Gastein is also a vibrant part of Austria's biggest ski alliance, the SKIAMADE! With a 2-day ski pass or longer, you can ski in all five Salzburger Land ski regions! The most prominent of these: Gastein Valley Ski Region, Grossarltal, Hochkönig Ski Region, Schladming-Dachstein Ski Region and the Salzburger Sportwelt.
